Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 14, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how The IFZO ("IFZO", "we", "our", or "us") handles information when you visit or use our website, tools, calculators, trackers, generators, converters, quizzes, and other services. This policy is intended to cover our website as a whole, including tools introduced in the future.
1. Information You Enter
You may enter text, numbers, financial figures, settings, files, or other information into our tools. Please avoid entering confidential or sensitive information unless it is necessary and you understand how the particular tool processes it.
2. Browser-Based Tools and Local Storage
Some tools process information directly in your browser without automatically sending the entered content to IFZO's application servers. Other tools may work differently, particularly if we introduce online accounts, server processing, synchronization, or cloud storage in the future. The behavior of each tool depends on how it is implemented.
Some features may use your browser's local storage to remember text, preferences, settings, or other information between visits. This information can remain on your device until you remove it, clear browser data, or the application removes it. Other people using the same browser profile may be able to access locally stored information.
If a tool provides an option to disable saving or clear stored information, you can use that option. You can also manage browser storage through your browser settings. Clearing browser data may remove saved settings or work.
3. Optional AI Features
Some tools may offer optional AI features that require you to configure a third-party AI provider and supply your own API key. When you choose to use an AI feature and submit a request, the selected text and instructions are sent to the provider you configure so it can generate a response.
For the current browser-based AI feature, requests are sent directly from your browser to the configured provider. IFZO does not intentionally collect or store your API key on its application servers. This statement describes the current implementation and may need to change if the AI architecture changes.
If you choose to save your API key, it is stored in your browser's local storage to make it available on future visits. Local storage is not encrypted secret storage. Scripts running on the same website origin may be able to access it. Use your own trusted device and browser profile, and use the available Forget key option when you no longer need the key.
Your selected AI provider handles requests under its own privacy policy, terms, and data practices. IFZO does not control how that provider processes or retains submitted information. Review the provider's policies, security practices, usage limits, and charges before using its services.
4. Uploaded Files and Downloads
Some tools support file uploads, such as text documents or spreadsheets. Where a tool processes an uploaded file locally, the file contents are processed in your browser. Other tools may require server-side processing, depending on their functionality. Check the information provided with the relevant tool.
Files you choose to download, export, or share are generated or transmitted as part of the action you request. Review exported files and shared content before sending them to other people.
5. Advertising, Cookies, and Analytics
We may introduce advertising, analytics, cookies, or similar technologies to operate, understand, and improve the website. These technologies may collect information such as browser details, device information, pages visited, approximate location, or interactions, depending on the services used.
Third-party advertising and analytics providers may use cookies or similar technologies according to their own policies. If these services are enabled, we will provide additional notices or consent choices where required by applicable law. You can also manage cookies through your browser settings, although disabling them may affect some features.
6. Information Collected Automatically
When you access a website, hosting providers and technical services may process operational information such as IP addresses, browser type, request times, and error logs to deliver the website, maintain security, troubleshoot problems, or prevent abuse. The information collected depends on our hosting and service configuration.
7. How Information May Be Used
Depending on the feature and services enabled, information may be used to provide requested tools, generate results, remember preferences, maintain security, diagnose errors, improve performance, respond to inquiries, comply with legal obligations, or support advertising and analytics.
8. Sharing and Third-Party Services
We do not intentionally sell the text you enter into our browser-based tools. Information may be processed by third-party services when necessary to provide a feature you request, operate the website, deliver hosting, prevent abuse, or comply with law. Examples may include AI providers, hosting services, and advertising or analytics providers.
Information you submit directly to a third-party service is subject to that provider's terms and privacy policy. We cannot guarantee the privacy, security, availability, or practices of independent third-party services.
9. Data Retention and Security
Information stored in your browser generally remains there until you remove it, clear browser data, or a feature removes it. Information handled by third-party services is subject to their retention practices. Any information held by IFZO is retained only as appropriate for the purpose for which it was collected, subject to applicable legal requirements.
We take reasonable measures appropriate to our implementation to protect information under our control. However, no website, browser storage method, or internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.
10. Your Choices
Depending on the tools and services available, you may choose whether to use AI, which provider to configure, whether to save your API key, and whether to save text locally. You can clear locally stored information through available controls or your browser settings. You can also manage cookies through your browser or any consent controls we provide.
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have additional rights regarding personal information, such as requesting access, correction, deletion, or information about processing.
11. Children's Privacy
Our tools are not specifically directed at children under the age required by applicable law to provide consent independently. We do not knowingly collect children's personal information in violation of applicable law. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can review the situation.
12. International Visitors
The IFZO may be accessed from different countries. Depending on the hosting infrastructure and third-party services used, information may be processed in countries other than your own. Applicable privacy rights and requirements may vary by jurisdiction.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when our tools, services, practices, or legal obligations change. The latest version will be published on this page with an updated revision date.
